Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My results came in but I don t quite know what they mean. I m asking if you may please help me understand what they mean I d appreciate it. The results say , 4 non-rib bearing vertebral bodies ar identified. Alignment is intact. The facet joint relationships are preserved. Vertebral body heights are maintained. There is no significant disc spacing narrowing, endplate osteophyte formation or facet joint hypertrophy. There is mild anterior elevation of the coccyx which is likely within normal limits of variability. The sacroiliac joints are unremarkable. Mineralization is within normal limits.
The report is not indicative of underlying grave or serious condition of pathological matter most likely. However, in medicine, every report has to be co related with the concerned patient and relevant data available, both of them are missing here.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
